Defensive riding course

finally wef friday i can official ride to camp. this would mean that i no longer have to ride illegally and park outside camp, somewhere else. this would also mean that i can sleep slightly longer.

oh well. i dont know why would the army want us, NSFs, to take defensive riding before we can ride to camp. the directive was set as much incidents have happened where NSFs dies in accidents. it cost 50+, too much for a NSF to fork out if you asked me. so they raised the subsidy from 50% to 100%. Still its troublesome as we have to go for a day course. as what my friend says, we got lic already still need to go for this b4 we can ride in our ns time? so our lic is fake one? tp give for fun?

and so friday i went for the course. about 3+hrs of theory(my 2nd theory lessons in the past month, the other was for my class 2a)

theory sucks. but things all changed after we put on our elbow and knee guards with the durian glove, and proceeded to the 'tracks'

from abt 12-1pm the whole ssdc circuit became our racing circuit. we were told to drag our gear1s(dragged till 45km/h, trust me the bike i used smelt like burnt rat) and CORNER here n there. tailgating behind the rider in front. was darn fun. and tried to do wheelie here n there.

fun was only beginning, after all the cornering, u-turn within the same lane, the instructor taught us how to DRIFT. we were told to go as fast as possible. clutch in, jam our rear brakes n skid with control on wet n dry ground. damn fun!!!! as tho we are having an accident or like doing movie stunts.

at the end of the day, the whole stretch have tyres marking all over. ooops.

one word to sum it all up, FUN! only wished that prac could be longer. and the course is free n i get the rest of the day off! how good.

fyi, i passed my class 2a lic. with only 6 demerit points, previously i had 12 at class 2b.

ask me when am i changing to super4? no $ or rather i dont want to let the bike shops earn my interest from the hire purchase. argh

someone pls show me the 4 dark purple notes . . .
